Hon. Mike Duffy
Mike Duffy has spent a lifetime at the intersection of politics and communications.
After a career as an award-winning journalist, Duff served more than a decade representing PEI in The Senate of Canada. Having retired from The Senate, Duff embarks on his third career.

Mike Duffy was born in PEI and educated in Island schools. He holds three honorary degrees; from his alma mater, UPEI; from Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo; and from Niagara University in Niagara Falls NY.
He was a visiting fellow at Duke University in Durham, NC.
He’s an ACTRA award-winner for live TV reporting, and was twice nominated for the “Best in the Business” award by the Washington Journalism Review, in addition to numerous other awards and citations.
His work on behalf of Canada’s veterans, and in the charitable sector, earned him both the Queen’s Diamond and Silver Jubilee medals.
